Offshore Turfs 8: Isla Espiritu Santo

We have a late start event again today, if not mistaken around 3pm PST (Zynga server time). The event I am talking about is the 8th Offshore Turfs in Mexico which is the 47th Secret District in Mafia Wars all time. It is subtitled Isla Espiritu Santo, which is also a name for your home turf while the rival turf is called San Jose Island. You can master both locations up to 4 times and get the final grade item of Ruby Mastery on each turf.

If you managed to ruby mastered your home turf, you will be rewarded a vehicle Beach Ranger with 320 attack and 421 defense. Also if you can master the rival turf to ruby, you will get another reward which is an armor Tusker Boot with 431 attack and 340 defense. Mastering each turf is independent, you don't need silver mastery of home turf to be able to master the rival turf to ruby. However to be able to get to rival turf for the first time you have to complete home turf bronze mastery.

 

The Consumables needed for this event are: Money Clip and Bomb Drone. Both are dropping as loots only from home turf jobs. Only the money clip can be acquired by sending/gifting feature. Also only one type of consumables is used on each turf: Money Clip will be used for doing SOME jobs in home turf, while Bomb Drone will be used for ALL jobs in the rival turfs.

The loot items for both locations are also different. Each turf has a set of 4 loot items with mediocre stats of attack and defense, which probably not gonna help you much if you are already in the 750k+ mafia attack/defense points. Here are the items:
