Today we have the monthly loot updates on several aspects of the game.
The update are for loots of these areas:

• Arena Loot Generation 36
• Declare War Tier 54
• Family Siege Loot Generation 5
• VIP Loot Generation 46

Frenzy Sale: Party Crasher - Blastive Burner

This will be the last frenzy sale we have for this year.
And the event named Party Crasher is pretty much gives us clue,
to celebrate the upcoming new year party.

The mastery items for this event is Blastive Burner with 329 attack and 418 defense. It comes in 4 different grades from bronze, silver, gold and final item ruby, and I am pretty sure you can only keep the best version as you progress in the event.

As for bonus item for staying at the Zone '4', which known as Zone '4' Challenge, the prize is Party Blimp with 423 attack and 334 defense, and it listed under vehicle category.

Collector's Edition Items - Cobb's Wren

This friday we have Cobb's Wren as a new Collector's Edition Item.

It is an animal type item with 390 Attack and 324 Defense, with +6 Defense bonus. And again, we are missing the collector's items tag on the image of this item. Small thing really, but it would make it easier to spot or differentiate a collector item from regular items.

Warsmith 23 - Fatal Jester

Warsmith is a crafting item event that requires reward points.
At first you need to spend 40 reward points to get the first item. Then you will need to upgrade it 6 more times to get to the "ultimate" state of it. I am not sure if you only need to spend 40 reward points everytime you upgrade it or the cost will increase on later stages, but as your item gets upgraded you also get certain skill point bonus that progressively increasing on every stage. The skill bonus point started from +6 skill points when you buy the first item and +20 skill points when the items gets fully upgraded.

If each stage constantly requires 40 reward points, then we are looking at the total of 280 reward points to complete it. And it will only get you 1 item of Fatal Jester that has 400 attack and 440 defense with 86 skill points that you receive along the way upgrading the item. Your items gets upgraded, so you lose the weaker item and gets a stronger item as a result. You don't get to keep the previous items. *bummer*

And you are allowed to rebuild it 3 more times for a total of 4 Fatal Jester.
I wonder if each upgrade counted towards the twisted christmas event. hmm...

Holiday Hustle 2015

Finally the Holiday Hustle is going alive today.
Everyday you will guaranteed to get at least one free item depending on the number of tries you flip the card to match the item shown. And a different new item will be presented as a reward every single day.

The rules are pretty simple.
If you flip the card the first time and match the items, you will get 3 units of it.
If you match the reward on the 2nd try, you get 2 items.
And of course if you're not so lucky and match it on the last attempt you will get only 1 item.
Play everyday to double your earned rewards and a special streak rewards at the end of the event.

For today the free item is called Stocking Sock with 323 attack and 361 defense.

I will keep update this post till the event finished on the 31st december.

Challenge Mission 30: Moscow - Mafiya Manifesto

Looks like mafia wars going to keep us busy through this holiday. It is time to choose, play the game or gather around with your family for the rest of this year.

Anyway, today we have 3 new events released and a usual friday Collector's Edition Items.
The first one is challenge mission that will last for 9 days. This should be the 30th challenge mission and take place in Moscow. As always we will have 3 new items, one mastery item for each chapter completed, and of course a new type of consumable item.

The three mastery items are:

1. Careless Cruiser [389/329] 
2. Vi-King Of War [333/396] 
3. Long-Tailed Widowbird [340/406]

As for consumable, this time it is called Shock Talks. You can get them as loot from doing jobs, clearing robbing board, fighting and of course competing in the arena. Also from clicking on feed post when your mafia completing the challenge jobs.

Limited Time Property 58: Festive Cabin - Festive Fist

The 58th limited time property is released today and is holiday themed property. As usual we 16 days period to complete 15 levels of upgrade. The rules are simple, you are allowed to post 2 feeds (specific & random parts feeds) per 8 hours and each feed can get you maximum of 6 parts for total 36 parts per day. Pretty simple event for clicking works but if you do not have good monkeys that are willing to click them, you will be ended up like me not getting much upgrade levels on the property.

If you manage to build the property to the maximum level of 15 within the time limit, you will get grand prize reward of Festive Fist with 290 attack and 375 defense.

Stat Card Stakes 54: World View - African Grey Parrot

The new cards set has been released.
This would be the 54th sets of Stat Card Stakes event.

This is probably one of the few easiest events that gives you free stat points. You just need to do some jobs/fights/robs, every 2 hours or so to be able to loot 1 draw. The draw will only drop once per 2 hours for a maximum 3 draws per day and you can only hold 5 at any time. So, if you have already have 3 draws, then your done for the day... though do not forget to redeem them and get the cards for the bonus stat points. Because if you are holding 5 draws (not yet redeemed to cards), you would not be able to loot any more draw on your next chance until you make room to hold a new draw loot.

Arena Rampage 7: Bells Toll Collection - Toll Order

Another event started today is the 7th Arena Rampage. This is a fighter event because you would need a good/high attack and defense stats to master it. Amount of stamina is important too, but it seems the requirements to master each tier is more dependant on the pool of stamina than the level. So having higher amount of stamina, probably will require you to complete harder tasks than other people that has lower amount of stamina around the same level as you.

Loot Lottery - Musical Santa

One of the events that has just started today is Loot Lottery. Though, I am not sure what its number in this series kind of event. I tried to search around but noone seems to put it out.

This event's grand prize is a henchemen item called Musical Santa with 421 attack and 421 defense which will also give you +40 bonus points. You need to collect 5 specific items from Loot Trunks and 3 specific skill point deals from the Skill Bags.

Japan: 2 New Districts available

Today we have a few new events and most importantly 2 new districts in japan available now. Since I have not yet finished the first three districts in japan, I could not even see what these 2 district are named. will do more report once I actually can say something about it :)

Summit Crates

Summit Crates have been released today.
I just forgot to post about it this morning.
Usually when Zynga released new crates, a few sale gimmick events always comes with them such as Crate Carnival, Frenzy Sale, and/or markdown mayhem. This week we have 2 of them, which I have posted earlier, go check them out if you haven't.

Crate Carnival 26 - Nightly Patrol

This would be the 26th Crate Carnival event.

The grand prize is Nightly Patrol that has 416 attack and 315 defense which also comes with 30 Skill Points if you can collect the 8 items required to get this event completed. You need to get items from Summit Crates, which are just released today and then some more from High-Tech Crates which was the last crates edition.

Frenzy Sale: Twisted Christmas - Festive Fox

We have 2 new events today and 1 sneak peek preview for upcoming event.
Both events are marketplace related events *sigh* yeah... that means you need to spend reward points if you want to participate and get the grand price reward item.

The first event is Frenzy Sale called Twisted Christmas. This event has a grand prize of animal type item called Festive Fox with maximum stat of 416 attack and 327 defense. The item comes with 4 different grades up to ruby.

And another bonus item if you stay at the Zone '4' discount rate for some duration time, which is called Sharp-Suiter with 332 attack and 421 defense.

For the second event, I would create a separate post to make it clean and clear for one event one post.

The third is an upcoming event, so I will talk about it here a bit rather than write a differest post.
This upcoming event is called Holiday Hustle, and is probably more interesting than the other two we have today. Why? because it sounds like we are going to have 7 days with free items *cheers* But lets just wait and see what is really coming to us in mafia wars this Christmas Day or...   should I say Holidays? *grins*

The Stranger's Swag 49: Horizcycle

Today we get the third item of the swag.

It is a vehicle item called Horizcycle which has 329 attack and 246 defense. Nothing else can be said about this event because it is pretty straight forward and simple event, post and click on other people feeds... done! And the item itself, well for some of us it might helps a bit but for others it would be just another free items and they can choose not to get it by NOT posting his own feed or clicking other people's feeds, right? *smiles*

The Stranger's Swag 49: Warty Squid & Pipe Shot

Today we get free items from simply posting and clicking feeds.

This animal item called Warty Squid is the first one of the set. The stats is 246 attack and 329 defense. As always the stranger's swag comes with 4 items in a set. So, if you plan to get all 4 items, you should not forget to log in and post & click on those stranger's swag feed in the next 4 days.

One thing I notice about this event, the reset time does not seem to follow like others. Just like today, I got twice... yes, 2 times of this option to share the items. I think it is around 4 PM PST (server time) when the banner get changed and showed a new item to share. So today I get to post 2 swag items, I am not sure if I can get 10 items total or just 5 (3 from your posted feed and 2 from clicking your mafia feed).

Anyway, the second item is Pipe Shot which is considered as a weapon... *chuckles* maybe you can smoke, point and shot someone with it. The stat is 247 attack and 330 defense.

7 Day Deal: Winter Wonderland

This is a progressive sale promo which means with the same amount reward points you spend you will get more items & more skill points for the next 7 deals in the next 7 days. At least that is what Zynga trying to offer :)

If you buy all 7 deals at 45 reward points each, you will be needing 315 reward points in total. You will get a total of 28 items which also grant you +35 skill points. If you do some calculations, it will come down to around 11 reward points per item or 9 reward points per skill point. This "might" be a good deal for someone who tries to get items to strengthen his mafia and gets skill points at the same time. However, as we know it... items in mafia wars are quite fast outdated and there are many other ways to get free items with similar or sometimes better stats that these. So, for me this is not quite as a good deal as zynga is trying to get us thinking.

Collector's Edition Items - Brawn Dust

As always on every friday, a new Collector's Edition Item is released.

For this friday, we have something called Brawn Dust with 323 Attack and 389 Defense which also comes with +6 Energy if you decided to buy this item. One thing that I am seeing lately on these collector's items is that the image does not have a collector's edition badge. In my opinion to without that small badge or tag or whatever you called it, the item would feel less desireable or recognizeable as a collector item.

The badge as I may call it, is the only thing that we can tell if an item was available for limited sale as collector's item. Without that unique mark, the item would look normal as other items sold through marketplace or acquired from any other events. There would no added value or prestige having it, from the collector's point of view.

Siege Leagues 4 - Shot Out

The last new released event for today is Siege Leagues.
This would be the 4th season of the Siege Leagues.
I cannot say much about this event, because I am not in any family yet.

Slaughter Season 21 - Wilson's Bird of Paradise

Third event is a fighter event, Slaughter Season. This is the 21st season.
I would probably ended up with bronze or silver rank again at the end of the season.
I hope I could get gold rank, but I would consentrate on getting emerald on operations before doing this.

Safesmith 5 - Cloud Shroud

There are a few new events released today including a charity sale event.
I will post each of them on separate post today.
The first of four is, The 5th Safesmith event:

After a few days, I have been doing quite well for awhile. I managed to crack the safe 3 times consecutively with just free lockpicks from fight & job loot. But still not good enough to hit the 4th times... I was using 2 lockpicks with 45% chance of success but it failed!! oh well, good thing they were all free lockpicks that I used, hehehe.

So far, I got 2 different items for the total of 4 (2 of each). My free technique was by using 1 lockpick per attempt, till I get 2 consecutive success then go with 2 lockpicks the next following day and hope for the best. However, that technique is not yet proven successful, but if it were up to 4 counts I would definitely buy a few lockpicks to increase the chance on the 5th counts to get the +10 skill points.

You can get one new item as a mastery reward that can be upgraded from bronze to emerald as you completed harder operations set. The stats on it will also gets upgraded up to the maximum of 416 attack 303 defense. Also each operation completion has 6 possible items as rewards. As a leader of operation you will get rewarded 4 items, while as a member you will get 1 less items. And you will never get duplicate reward items on each completed operation, at least I have never gotten such thing on my operations.

The First Post

This is the first post on this blogspot.

I started playing mafia wars around 2010? and stopped around 2011?.
And I came back and started playing this game again around late September 2015, about 2 months ago.
A lot has changed for sure, first of all... I am shocked that moscow, bangkok, vegas and italy has disappeared. I completed those cities except italy to gold mastery before I took a long break from mafia wars. I found out that before Zynga deleted these cities they opened another tier of mastery (ruby) and made some new achievements available for that. So, now I am out of luck for those three or four achievements that will be grey out forever.

As I was playing the game, I kept seeing some nice items (image wise not stat wise) and I was wondering where did that items come from? Is it still available, can I still get them now? So, I got an idea... why not create a blog about those looted drop items from jobs, fights, or any other events. That would help other people with the same situation as me. I know there are many other blogs or sites that also do the same, but I still want to try it. This would also be a good way for me to learn how to code html, do some css stuff and others.

So, here I created this blog to keep track of new items released by zynga on (hopefully) every upcoming events, and possibly old released items that I can get information on.
