Stat Card Stakes 57: Good Sport - Shock Block

The 57th Stat Card Stake is now available for free draw looting session. The rules still hasn't changed, so if you are not familiar yet with this event go search for keyword or label Stat Card Stake. Actually just click that word, I made it easier for you. You can only loot 3 free draws per day for the next 10 days. These 30 draws can be redeemed for 30 cards, which I am prety sure you will be getting lots duplicate cards hence you need to buy some more if you intent to complete the event. If you manage to complete it, you will be rewarded with a Grand Prize of armor item Shock Block with 445 attack and 445 defense and some skill points.

Collector's Edition Items - Air Hound

We got so many events currently running. But don't worry, Zynga would never miss to put up any marketplace promo. And every Friday we always have a new collector's item, so for this week is an airplane called Air Hound. This item has 333 attack and 399 defense with added bonus +6 energy points. Look at the front tip of the airplane, now you know why they named it Air Hound.

Limited Time Collection: Journey To The Top Collection - Japanese Tattoo Master

Journey To The Top Collection is now available on the collection page. This is the first Limited Time Collection event for Japan city. To vault the collection you need to collect 7 items from 7 available japan disctricts. You can vault it for the maximum of 10 times in the duration of 10 days. Each item will drop only once per day, so if you missed one item on a specific day you will also miss a chance to vault it.

Lucky Streak 23 - Unipropellor

Lucky Streak event is available for play today. This would be the 23rd runs of Lucky Streak. As usual you will get one free spin each day that will also expired the same day if you forgot to use it. So be sure to login, and use your free spin to get your free item. The Grand Prize for completing this event is a vehicle airplane named Unipropellor with 508 attack and 458 defense at its best Ruby grade mastery. Pretty high attack and defense and of course pretty hard to get also. You need to collect all 12 different items from all new 20 available loot items in this lucky streak. I am not sure how much reward points you will need to achieve that, but I am pretty sure it would be a lot!!

Arena Smashup 17

The 17th Arena Smashup is available today. Along with Heist and Urban Assault, I would say this is a good complement event. You can use your energy in Heist missions and objectives then spend the rest of your stamina in the Arena. And you can also do some energy based or stamina based tasks in Urban Assault and do the remaining energy or stamina on Heist or Arena respectively. Anyway you do it, you shoud try to find a way to keep leveling while doing all these available events today. The exp ratio on Heist is quite good and the Urban Assault provides bonus experiences when you completed Reward Stations.

The best reward item in this Arena Smashup required 75 arena tokens. It is a weapon called Shadow Assassin with 428 attack 378 defense and bonus 7 skill points. If you can be a rank 1 for three days, you will get enough token to exchange one of that Shadow Assassins.

Urban Assault 17: Deceptive Intentions - Paradise Flycatcher

The 17th Urban Assault is available now and it is based in Brazil, though the tasks are to be done in all over available cities. The best reward is an animal Paradise Flycatcher with 398 attack and 453 defense that you can get by completing all mission stations and reward stations in this urban assault event.

There are a few tasks that can be done at once, mostly arena related task where you need to get some ices, kills or accumulate damages. I will try to get all the tasks opened as soon as possible, before I can write more about this event here.

Heist 2: High Stakes Gamble

The second run of Heist is available today. In this heist we are going to Mexico City to steal from the biggest casino in that city. You are going in with three specialists: Mr. Techno, Mr. Dynamite and Ms. Sly to steal from the 12 inch vault door, 3 floor below the main building of that casino.

For this heist you will be needing Poker Chip as training ammo and Operation Plan as heist ammo. Poker Chip can be looted from Recon Mission as a 100% loot drop,

Frenzy Sale: Wild Hunt - Jungle Stalker

A marketplace promo known as Frenzy Sale is available today. The theme is Wild Jungle and of course the items available with this event is Jungle related items. There are 2 rewards in this event: one is for completing the mastery bar up to Ruby level and another one is a bonus reward for staying at Zone '4' challenge. Mastering the event is pretty simple by buying certain number of Limited Edition items as shown on the image above. And the challenge is to move the Frenzy Meter to zone 4 and stay there for a duration of time. Moving the meter can be done by frequently buying marketplace items, and as the meter rise up you also get more additional discount on LE loots and skill points added to the regular discount on the marketplace promo.

Craftmania 12 - Fire Chief

The 12th Craftmania event is available today. For this Craftmania, you need to build a total 15 items, 5 level 15 items from 3 different properties: Lingerie Store, Festive Cabin, and Aquarium. The Grand Prize for completing this event is a henchman Fire Chief with 419 attack and 307 defense.

The event runs for 15 days, so you have plenty time to complete it even if you missed building them for couple days. You can build 1 from each properties every day that means you need a maximum of only 5 days to get this done, provided that you have fully upgraded those 3 properties. For those of you, including me, that have not fully upgraded or missed those Limited Properties, this would be a second chance to pick up where you left off and upgrade it all the way to level 15.

Job Board 16 - Railway Station Guard

A Job Board event is available today and will be running for the next 5 days. This would be a jobber activity because the loot item, Fire Cannon, that you need to collect is dropping from jobs in Los Angeles city.

You need to have a good pool of energy and the ability of serial leveling. If you cannot serial leveling you can forget about getting any of the grand prize reward. Talking about the grand prize rewards, you can get 2 items in this event. One is from being the top 3 rank in the Global Job Board and one is from your Family Job Board. So, if you are not good enough to be the best 3 looters in the whole world of mafia wars then you can get a chance to get reward by being the top 3 leader in you Family Job Board.

Collector's Edition Items - Pediatrician

It's Friday... It's Collector's Edition Items day!

This week we have a henchman item Pediatrician that comes with 332 attack 398 defense and bonus +6 attack. I am kind of confused, isn't pediatrician specialize in taking care of children and infants? but why the image shows she is holding an animal... or is it a stuffed animal? perhaps the latter.

Level Up Loot Updates

I noticed a few new items available as reward for leveling up today.
There are 8 new released items that I will be dropping for level up loot starting today, and those items are as listed below:

The third item, Japanese Puzzle Box Maker, I have never seen it yet on my level up screen. I think it is one of the hardest one to get amongst the 8 possible items for level ups. Though, I am pretty sure if you can choose between the items or attack/defense points, you would probably with no hesitation will pick the points.

Siege Leagues 6 - Monster Buggy

The 6th season of Siege Leagues has just started today. For this season the grand reward is a vehicle Monster Buggy with 360 attack and 401 defense and a bonus +50 skill points for the top 5 Families in the highest League (The Nuclear League). 50 skill points sure is a lot of points. You will need to have good strong family to get that reward. Are you in one of that five strongest family in mafia wars?

I am still searching for a good family who will accept me.
I've been looking around and most of them required a total 20k, 25, 50k or even higher sum of attack and defense. I am only level 1k+ with slightly a bit over 7k of total attack/defense, so it's kinda hard for me to join any family out there.

7 Day Deal: Roman Sojourn

One of the marketplace events started today, it is the Progressive Sale which is also known as 7 day deal offer. Since I am not interested in doing or partaking in this event, I cannot say much more. All I can say the same as before, it would be cheaper to just buy skill points directly and allocate them yourself. In this event if you buy all 7 deals you will have to spend  315 reward points and you will be getting 28 items (which will be outdated in less than a month or so) and 35 skill points. So, do the math... if you feel this is a good deal because not only you need the skill points but also the items, then good for you!

Killer Instinct 15 - Golden Mane

One new event started today and it's a fighter event. This is the 15th Killer Instinct and the reward is an armor item called Golden Mane with the maximum stat of 324 attack and 405 defense for the Ruby grade. If you not familiar yet with this kind event you might want to read the other similar post with more info in it. The last Killer Instinct 14 has a bit more info. The stat for each grade of the rewards are:

5x Mastery Los Angeles - Sock It To me

Wow... still no big events yet after almost 2 weeks since the release of japan district 6 and 7.
And to fill the emptiness they decided to throw a 5x Mastery event for Los Angeles.

I heard some people decided to hold their progress at silver tier mastery on all the districts in the Los Angeles city. Would this 5x Mastery change their minds? I would probably do the same and do all the districts up to silver, then farm the consumables. Yeah... I am one of those people who hasn't done much jobs in Los Angeles. I am not even done completing the first district, so hopefully with this 5x Mastery event I can advance a bit to district 3 or 4. Why not go all the way to district 10 you may ask. Well I certainly hope I could do that but my main concern is raiding the assets, because it needs a lot of consumables, a lot of stamina and requires waiting time for each raid. As the event is running only for about 5 days, hopefully I can complete as many districts as possible.

Crafter Choice 27: Mineral Affair

A Crafter Choice event has just started today and will be available for 7 days. As the event name emphasize, you as a crafter can choose which item to build from 2 available items: Czar's Finest and Mach 20. The first item Czar's Finest is an armor item that you can build up to Ruby grade with stat of 364 attack and 317 defense and bonus 3 attack points. The Second item Mach 20 is a vehicle item which also can be built up to Ruby grade with the reverse stat of 317 attack and 364 defense with bonus 3 defense points.

To build any of these items, you will need to post a feed requesting build materials. The material used this time is called Impossibrium, a green colored mineral which of course a made up material created by Zynga. You can post feeds every 2 hours and collect a maximum of 10 impossibriums from each post. The total you can collect per day is 30 pieces from posting feeds, 10 from helping your mafia by clicking their feeds, and another 5 as loots from doing job in any cities. That's a total possibility of 45 pieces/day times 7 days, for a grand total of  315 pieces of impossibrium.

Lunar New Year Crates

Lunar New Year Crates are now available in the marketplace.
As we know the Chinese New Year was celebrated a few days ago, to be exactly February 8th. I am not sure whether this crate edition has just been released today or a few days ago, but I just found out about it today. And just like other crates, this crate edition comes with 8 possible items: 3 commons, 3 uncommons and 2 rares.

Usually when Zynga releases new crates, they also start a new crate carnival event. However, this time they don't... I don't see crate carnival event on the front page. Are they delaying it and going to throw it along with bunch of other events in the next following days? Well, let's just wait and see... but I think that what would happen, and it would be either tomorrow on saturday or the next following day on sunday.

Collector's Edition Items - Wheely Heel

It's already Friday again, and your collector's item for today is Wheely Heel. Last week I said the next item might be a Valentine's related item, well I guess I was wrong! This does not look anything close to Valentine's themed item. Anyway, this item is under the vehicle category item with 397 attack 331 defense and added bonus of +10 health points. When I see this item, all I can think is a handicapped person using it... hmm what about you? and health points bonus makes me think it is a clue... lol, yeah that's me thinking out loud.

Anyway, it's been a week and no new events yet. Well for those in the family, they are busy with new ongoing boss fight that was released a few days ago I believe. But for others that are not in the family yet, it's nothing to do... not a bad thing, because you can catch up and finish off some cities that you have not completed yet, including the new districts in Japan that was released a week ago. If you are done with those, then I suggest you to farm consumables... any consumables in any cities. Why? just to be prepared for the next Urban Assault or any other events that will usually pick certain jobs that require consumables.

Stat Card Stakes 56: All Grown Up - Glow Bomb

The Stat Card Stakes is available today. I would say this falls into a category of monthly release feature or event. This is the 56th set of the card sets available in the game. The free draw cards event last for 10 days and you can get 3 draws per day every 2 hours. So, that's the the possibility total of 30 draws that you could redeem for cards to help increase your stat by at least 60 points. After 10 days you can only buy the cards from marketplace, if you really want to complete the collection and get the Grand Reward of Glow Bomb with 442 attack 442 defense and some skill points.

For previous set cards, you can still buy them from marketplace in case you also want to finish your old / previous / missed collections. Personally, I would just loot the free draws and be thankful for the free stat points and never bother to buy more cards. Because there is no guarantee that your purchased card would fill in the missing cards, you could ended with so many double cards with random stats. And I think if you do some math, the cost will be cheaper if you just buy the skill points directly and allocate them yourself to whatever stats you need to increase.

Japan: District 6 & 7 available

Two new districts has been opened to continue the story of tatsuya to overtake the criminal world of japan. Along with these 2 new districts, a few new Japan City Store items and its counterparts Job Loot items are also being released.

And of course to complete the release of these districts, a new 'Origami' collection is available to be vaulted 3 times to get bonus stat points. Three of the required items for the collection can be looted in district 6 while the rest will be available as loot in district 7.

With the new districts requiring new consumables, new levels also added to other properties including Kyabakura, so that you can produce the new required consumables. And the last but not the least, a new property Cargo Dock, is available to be built and will generate stamina every 16 hours.

I would give more information if I could, but sadly I have not opened those districts yet. I am planning to do them as soon as there is an event for doing or finishing them. I am sure we will have another event coming for these two new districts, perhaps in a month or two.

Collector's Edition Items - Needler

The Collector's Edition Items for this week has arrived!!

Today we have Needler with 396 attack and 330 defense and bonus 6 stamina points. With all new released items themed Valentine's day, I am kinda surprised Zynga did not also make the same thing to this week's collector item. Perhaps they would make the next edition as the valentine's day item, because next week is just about the right time for it.

Warsmith 24 - Love Conquer

The third event is a 'paid' crafting event. I said 'paid' because you craft the item by spending reward points not by posting feeds or requesting parts just like we usually do on other crafting events. And the best item that you can craft will look like the one shown on the side. It is called Love Conquer, yeah zynga is trying to name anything that reminds you of the upcoming Valentine's Day.

You need to buy the initial item that looked like car seat or something like that, then you will have to spend reward points to upgrade it 6 times to get to the best state of it. As you upgrade the item, you will also get bonus skill points for every upgrade in the increasing amount. However you need to keep in mind that as you upgrade you don't get to keep the old item. So you ultimately ended up with only 1 item with lots of skill point bonuses. Think of it as buying 1 item + some skill points.

Loot Lottery - Toxic Love

Loot Lottery is available today and it's themed valentine's day.
The items you need to collect are from skill bags and the new Valentine's Day Loot Trunk. The Skill bags could give 6 different possible loots while the Loot Trunk has 8 new released loot items. To get the mastery item of this event you need to collect 5 different items from the Loot Trunk and 3 of the specified Skill Deals. If you can complete the event you will earn the Grand Prize item of Toxic Love that has even stat of 427 on attack and defense also 40 bonus skill points.

Later, I will add the list of the new released items that are available in Valentine's Day Loot Trunk.

Arena Conquest 5

Today we have a few new events started. One of them is Arena Conquest which is of course a fighter/stamina event. This event is running for 5 days and the objective is to collect as many insignias as possible that you can exchange to 5 different available reward items. The target is quite similar like other arena events, getting kill shots, killing leader (killjoy), overkill and of course the last is kamikaze kill that will give us a huge amount of insignias. However there is no restriction on the number of arena you can enter per day to get the insignias. You can do it non stop and collect as many insignia as you can but the catch is... you can only exchange certain amount for each reward item. Also the amount of rewards items only available in limited supply which will be restocked every 12 hours and exchange rate will be increased per 24 hours (daily).

So, here are the table of cost for exchanging them and the amount you can have per item:

Safesmith 6 - Bonsai Artist

The 6th Safesmith is here. Pretty simple event because it is related to your reward points, hehehe. Spend your reward points, buy lockpicks, hope you get lucky and open the safe successfully in 5,  10, and 15 consecutive times to get bonus skill points of 10, 20 and 50 respectively. Also if you can find all 15 different items (which released as new items on this event), you will get +15 skill points. So if you manage to do all those 4 goals, you will earn an Event Mastery Reward of Bonsai Artist with 415 attack and 443 defense also extra bonus of 60 skill points. A possible total of 155 skill points in this event, if you really wanna waste... err... I mean spend your reward points.

I will list all the 15 new released items when I got time.

Frenzy Sale: Fatal Love - Amore Lingerie

A marketplace promo event is available today. It is a Frenzy Sale kind of sale event and will last for 5 days. They are trying to tie the event to the upcoming valentine's day and I think 'Fatally' failed. To make it short, if you are into this kind of event and going for the mastery item then you will be aiming for mastery item of Amore Lingerie Ruby grade with 333 attack and 422 defense. And of course there will be a zone 4 reward, a weapon called Jilted Lover with 427 attack and 338 defense if you can stay at zone 4 meter for certain duration of time.

Daily Fix 31 - Jungle Scarf

Daily Fix - 31st Generation - Jungle Scarf [219/305]

A new item is released today as a new reward item for Daily Fix. It is an armor type, Jungle Scarf, and this would be the 31st item in this category. It has 219 attack and 305 defense, pretty low stats for most of us. For those who has reached Ruby tier on daily fix, you will get 15 of these daily.

Overlords 12

Sorry for late posting today, kinda busy and tired with thing in real life.

Today we have fighter event started, the 12th appearance of Overlords. As we all know, in this event we have to defeat one boss per day and wait for the next boss appears on the next day. Usually this event runs for 5 days, but somehow I see that it has a timer for 6 days. This could be means both good and bad things, it could mean we have extra day to do 5 finish or it also could mean that the last boss would be harder than ever. 

As usual for defeating the boss you have to break the shield to be able to damage directly to the boss' health points. And this can only be done by using special ammos dropped from jobbing, robbing, and doing arena/fight list. There are 4 kinds of ammos usable but only 3 can be looted, the last type of ammo can only be bought from marketplace. A maximum of 100 pieces of each type can be obtained daily. So after you have defeated the first boss, do not stop looting the ammos before reaching 100 counts each. You will probably need it later in the following days, because the next boss will be harder and have more shield & health points. Remember breaking the shield can be done only by using special ammos. If you still insit to use stamina to hit it, get ready to be disappointed because you will only do minimal damage for 1 point for any amount stamina you use to hit.

The best way to break the shield is by using the yellow combo, but you need to find the combination first before using it. Why yellow... not green or red? because green combo deals too low of damage for the same amount of ammos and even though red combo deals the best damage, it is not feasible because it requires the 'paid' ammo. If you willing to spend some reward points, then go ahead and try figure out the red combo then use it to defeat the boss faster.

Once defeated, each boss will give you their's prized possesion items and added varied bonus points. So in this event you will have a chance to get 5 new boss items and about 30+ skill points. For the list of the items, I will add it in the next update.
